Mini Chess Sets
I began making these custom mini chess sets in Spring 2023, inspired by when I first carved a small chess board out of a spare chunk of wood. I then developed this design to be portable, decorative, and with unique designs and colors between them. These 4x4" to 5x5" boards are hand made with laser cut MDF, sanded wood, and hand painted components glued together, and they consist of cute 1/4" pieces which slot into the grid and are stored inside the board. I currently have them for sale on Etsy.
This is an archive of many of the boards I've made in this style, including a full size chess set and a redesigned set that aimed to make the manufacture process simpler.
