Timpani Handles

My chosen topic for my senior capstone project was to improve the ergonomics of moving timpani drums around, which is a notorious annoyance among concert percussionists. For something completely novel in the market, this posed an intriguing design challenge for how to make it function for as many timpani as possible. I landed on the concept of a pair of rotating handle attachments that clamp onto the struts of the timpani. They can fit any drum diameter as well as several strut designs from different timpani manufacturers.
